Ei Gofrestr Bedyddiadau 1806-1837 sydd bellach yn yr Archifdy Gwladol: mae'r cofnodion isod sy'n perthyn i Langynfelyn wedi'i adysgrifio o'r copi microffilm yn LlGC. Er bod y Cofrestr yn mynd hyd at 1837, nid oes cofnodion Llangynfelyn ar ôl 1821.
Mae'n debyg bod y cofnodion wedi gafodd eu ysgrifennu mewn grwpiau, o nodiadau, yn hytrach nag ar bryd y bedydd. Mae sawl allan o'r drefn gywir, ac mae sawl wedi'i dyblygu yn ôl pob tebyg. |
Azariah Shadrach was Minister of Bethel, Talybont (Independent) from 1806 to 1822, and subsequently of Capel Sion, Aberystwyth. His Register of Baptisms 1806-1837 is in the PRO: the following entries for Llangynfelyn have been transcribed from the microfilm copy in NLW. Although the register
continues to 1837, there are no Llangynfelyn entries after 1821.
It appears that the entries were written down in groups, probably from notes, rather than at the time of the baptism. Some are out of order, and there seem to be some duplicates. |
