Mae nifer o gyfeiriadau at Llangynfelyn yng nghofnodion Anghydffurfiol eraill yr ardal, ar gyfer y cofnod cyn i ddechreuad y capeli lleol, a hefyd i enwadau eraill,e.e. yr Annibynwyr a'r Bedyddwyr. |

Only one chapel remains open in the parish: Capel Rehoboth, Taliesin (Calvinist Methodist). The Wesleyan Chapel (Capel Soar in Tre'r Ddôl) finally closed at the end of 2003. Various records for both denominations are held in NLW. References to Llangynfelyn also occur in other Nonconformist records for the area, both for other denominations (Baptists, Independents etc.) and for the period before the founding of the local chapels. |
