86 children with 9 teachers and 6 helpers left Breck Rd Station at 9.10 a.m where they entrained for Borth. Arrived at 2.10, taken by bus to Taliesin. Children billeted [sic] in village & in Treddol but some as far distant as Ynyslas - 3 mls from Taliesin. 11 Juniors joined our Party making 97.

We are working in 3 Classes, 1 Junr & 2 of Infants. The long distance chrn - 8 in number - stay to lunch. A helper comes to make a hot drink & to supervise meal. Miss Gealy returned to duty. Now that we have commenced full time School, the afternoon walks which have taken place each Tues & Thurs will be discontinued, but chrn will still have some walks during Nature Periods.

In the afternoon children attended a party given by Mrs David Evans J.P. to the children of Taliesin School. All had a very enjoyable time.

Mrs Jones Llonio visited school in the morning to distribute sweets amongst the children. In the afternoon Miss Gealy took her class to Talybont school where a party was given for both Talybont and Taliesin evacuees together. The party ended with games and carol singing which the children thoroughly enjoyed. School broke up for the Xmas holidays to re-open again on January 6th 1941.
