POST-NUPTIAL SETTLEMENT between the said John Jones and Catherine his wife, granting to 2 the m. and land called
Tythyn Gwar Cwm y Clettwr otherwise
Tythyn y pomp'n kay or
Cae newydd, the parcel of arable lands and wood (12 a.) called
Peny rhiwfelen, the parcel of arable lands (10 a.) called
Llambryn y ffallen, and one new house and its wack or fulling mill called
Pandy Cwm y Clettwr where Griffith Hughe the Dyer lives, all in the township of LLANNERCH GOCH, p. LLANGYNFELYN, and in the tenure of the said John Jones or his undertenants or assigns, to the use of the said John Jones and Catherine his wife for their natural lives and the life of the longer liver of them, and after their decease to the use of Rowland Jones the eldest son of the said John Jones and Catherine his wife and the heirs of the body of the said Rowland Jones, and in default of such issue, to the use and behoof of Robert Jones, second son of said John Jones
reciting that John Jones is dead, that Rowland Jones the son is also dead without issue, and that the said m., lands and premises are in the tenure of the said Catherine Jones for her natural life, with remainder to the said Robert Jones her son.
Consideration: several sums of money amounting to £80 and upwards that 2 has paid to several persons to whom 1 was indebted as administratrix to the said John Jones, and also for the love and affection that 1 bears 2 her son
