This is a fairly conventional motoring map, by W and A K Johnston of Edinburgh, based on OS data. The original scale is 3 miles to the inch.The main roads and various geographical features are highlighted in red. The map itself is undated, but the cover illustration strongly suggests the 1920s. The extracts here are taken from sheet EE, which goes from Llŷn and Porthmadog in the north, to Cardigan in the south, and as far east as Rhayader and Llanidloes. The extract below, covering the parish, is at 300 dpi. There is a larger extract available at 150dpi covering the area from Machynlleth down to New Quay. |
